The KönigsQuartier around the existing tower villa is located at the junction of the historic grown mansion area on the south of the Potsdamer Chaussee and the center of Zehlendorf. The architecture concept, which was developed in close cooperation with the district of Zehlendorf, should take account for the particular location, which is integrated in the surrounding but highlighted at the same time. On the one hand we have an architecture, where the individual house stands out because of its dimension as a building and throughout the from house to house easily differentiated colorfulness as an individual. On the other hand, there is a strong relationship between the individual houses that are strung along the streets to an accommodation with a distinctive character and a unifying, generous garden inside. Each house exhibits a individual quote on larger and smaller flats, whose unifying feature (in addition to large outside areas, such as balconies and terraces) is an extremely simple and balanced basic structure, that allows many individual variations. This is where the architectural concept forgathers from the inside and outside - a concept, which should link in a classic-modern and timeless way to the tradion of Berlin's architecture by Schinkel (the architect of "Schloss Glienicke" and the "Schinkel-Pavilion" at "Schloss Charlottenburg") and fits perfectly into the sourroundings.
